Getting to Tapovan, Rishikesh

Rishikesh is well-connected from Delhi and Dehradun. The campus is in Tapovan — a quiet, forested area of Laxman Jhula, close to the Ganges and far from the noise of the city centre.

By air — Dehradun

Fly into Jolly Grant Airport (DED) in Dehradun, 35 km from campus. Taxis available outside arrivals — fixed rate approx. Rs. 800–1,000 to Tapovan. Journey time: 45–60 minutes.

By air — Delhi (IGI)

Fly into Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL). From Terminal 1/2/3, take the AC Volvo bus to ISBT Kashmiri Gate (1 hr), then an overnight or daytime bus to Rishikesh (5–6 hrs). Alternatively, hire a taxi — approx. Rs. 3,000–4,000.

By train

The nearest railhead is Haridwar Junction (HW), 24 km from campus. Many overnight trains from Delhi (Shatabdi, Jan Shatabdi, Mussoorie Express). From Haridwar, take a shared tempo or taxi to Tapovan — 30–45 minutes.

Campus location

D11-A, Badrinath Road, Laxman Jhoola Enclave, Tapovan, Rishikesh — 249192. The campus is 800 m from Laxman Jhula bridge, a 10-minute walk from the Ganges, and surrounded by forest.
